LOTR, Hobbit, and Tolkien IP to Be Acquired by Embracer Group

Embracer Group has entered an agreement to acquire the IPs for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Of course, The Lord of the Rings is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential film series ever made.

The Lord of the Rings is one of the best-selling books ever written, with over 150 million copies sold.

the famous film series from director Peter Jackson. The universe that Tolkein built has been influenced by numerous video games, movies, books, and other media, and now it is going to grow a little bit.

The Saul Zaentz Company, who have held the franchise's rights since  1976, has acquired The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit to Embracer Group.
