Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most funniest and charismatic actors working in Hollywood right now, and I think everybody loves her. The Academy-Award winner actress has been taking a sort of break from films for the last four years, appearing in only three films since 2016 but that hiatus is going to end now with Lawrence featuring in multiple films.
So, we are going to list every Jennifer Lawrence upcoming movie in 2022 and beyond:
Don’t Look Up
Available on Netflix

Synopsis: Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), an astronomy grad student, and her professor Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) make an astounding discovery of a comet orbiting within the solar system. The problem — it’s on a direct collision course with Earth. The other problem? No one really seems to care. Turns out warning mankind about a planet-killer the size of Mount Everest is an inconvenient fact to navigate. With the help of Dr. Oglethorpe (Rob Morgan), Kate and Randall embark on a media tour that takes them from the office of an indifferent President Orlean (Meryl Streep) and her sycophantic son and Chief of Staff, Jason (Jonah Hill), to the airwaves of The Daily Rip, an upbeat morning show hosted by Brie (Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Tyler Perry). With only six months until the comet makes impact, managing the 24-hour news cycle and gaining the attention of the social media obsessed public before it’s too late proves shockingly comical — what will it take to get the world to just look up?! Don’t Look Up is written and directed by Academy Award winner Adam McKay (The Big Short) and also stars Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Himesh Patel, Melanie Lynskey, Michael Chiklis and Tomer Sisley.
Red, White and Water
Release Date: TBD

Red, White and Water is the film that could earn Jennifer Lawrence another Oscar with acclaimed theater director Lila Neugebauer debuting with this film and the script from Elizabeth Sanders another first timer. The film’s producers include Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, and Lawrence with the film being under A24 banner.
According to IMDB, the film will follow an American soldier who suffers from a traumatic brain injury which was sustained while fighting in Afghanistan and the soldier is now struggling to adjust in the life back home.
Mob Girl
Release Date: TBD

After working mostly in blockbusters and franchises Jennifer Lawrence is seemingly transitioning into the experimental type of film, working with some interesting directors like Adam McKay, Lila Neugebauer, and now Paolo Sorrentino, who is best known for the oscar-winning film The Great Beauty, and HBO’s Jude Law fronted series The Young Pope.
According to Variety, Sorrentino and Lawrence were teaming up to make the Pulitzer Prize winning true-crime story Mob Girl by Teresa Carpenter. The story follows Arlyne Brickman who grows around and marries into the mob of Lower East Side New York City becomes and informant for the police.
Bad Blood
Release Date: TBD

Even before Netflix’s Don’t Look Up, Lawrence and McKay were slated to work together in a film detailing the life of the controversial founder Elizabeth Holmes who started a blood-testing company named Theranos, the film was named Bad Blood.
The film was announced back in 2016, and the rights were purchased by Legendary, but Lawrence and McKay could take the film elsewhere if the production doesn’t start quickly for the film because they are both producing the film. There is another Theranos project coming as a Hulu original name The Dropout starring Amanda Seyfried and it looks like the series may come earlier than the film.
This concludes the list of upcoming Jennifer Lawrence movies in 2021 & beyond that. Which film are you most excited about tell us in the comments.
