Every Upcoming ‘The Boys’ Spinoff Series

Prime Video has been able to launch a pretty successful superhero universe, with its hit series The Boys and now the streaming giant is working on expanding it by making spinoffs. The Boys is based on the comic series of the same name which was created by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson, and the story of the series follows Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) and his crew of misfits called The Boys who are led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) as they try to fight against a big evil conglomerate Vought and their elite superhero team The Seven.

The Boys was adapted for Prime Video by Eric Kripke, who made the series totally diabolical and insanely brilliant. With the success of the first and the second season of the series Prime Video is now making spinoff shows, which will be set in the world of the original series. The Boys: Diabolical

Prime Video is making an animated series set in The Boys universe and it is called The Boys: Diabolical. It will be an anthology series with each episode created by a different celebrity such as Awkwafina, Andy Samberg, Eliot and Ilana Glazer, Justin Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Garth Ennis, and Aisha Tyler. The series will consist of eight episodes and it is set to premiere on Prime Video in early 2022.

The Boys (Untitled Spinoff)

The Boys is also bringing its first live-action spinoff series which will focus on the next generation of supes. The currently untitled series will be set in The Boys universe and follow a group of teenagers at Vought’s college for superheroes. The series is loosely based on the G-Men comic series, which is a parody of X-Men comics. The spinoff series will see the characters competing against each other to get assignments in cities around America and it will also focus on and test their physical, moral, and sexual limits. The cast of the series includes Aimee Carrero, Shane Paul McGhie, Jaz Sinclair, Reina Hardesty, Lizze Broadway, and Maddie Phillips. No release for this series has been announced yet.

The Boys Season 3 is currently in post-production with expected to premiere sometime in the next year.
