The British teen drama series Skins provided a fresh look at the teen experience with a brilliant soundtrack. The 2007 series boasted some of the most unique storylines that you can only understand if you are a teenager. Skins followed a group of teenage friends as they go through the tumultuous journey of romance, friendship, heartbreak, and parties. Skins also had a unique format that followed a different protagonist from the group every week and it followed a group only for two seasons. The series was created by the father and son team Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain. There was also an American reboot of the series which was just awful and not worth looking at. Skin starred some of the most talented group teen actors you can find in Britain including Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel, Daniel Kaluuya (he also wrote for the series), and Kaya Sodelario. Skins ran for seven seasons ending its run in 2013 and since then the fans of the series have missed the series. So we made a list of the best shows you could watch to fill your time.
