The Apple TV+ brilliant alien invasion series titled Invasion is created by Simon Kinberg (Star Wars Rebels) and David Weil (Hunters) and it tells the story of an alien invasion in a very grounded way with many of its characters having very different backgrounds. Golshifteh Farahani plays the role of a Syrian woman trying to make a life for herself and her family in Long Island, Sam Neil plays the role of a veteran sheriff close to retirement, and Shamier Anderson plays the role of a soldier fighting in Afghanistan. The series also stars Shioli Kutsuna, Firas Nassar, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Tara Moayedi, and Daisuke Tsuji. Invasion has been renewed for Season 2 by Apple TV+. So, while you wait for Invasion Season 2 to come out here are some shows you could watch while waiting.
War of the Worlds (Prime Video Premium Subscription)

Synopsis: A post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, this limited drama series tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost. STATION ELEVEN is based on the international bestseller of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel.
The Strain (Hulu)

Falling Skies (HBO Max)
