The series has the same amount of gore and humor that the Sam Raimi movies had and the brilliant lead like Bruce Campbell who reprised his beloved role of Ash Williams was sure to make the series a hit. While the series did get a lot of praise from both the critics and audiences alike it didn’t move past its third season, when it was unceremoniously canceled.
