Netflix’s latest film Spiderhead is a sci-fi thriller and it sure is one of the most trippy movies out there. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), the film stars Miles Teller as Jeff, an inmate who takes part in experimental tests of emotion-altering drugs. The tests are conducted by brilliant but morally corrupt scientist Steve Abnesti (Chris Hemsworth) and all of this is taking place in Abnesti’s secret facility known as Spiderhead. The Netflix film is based on the short story “Escape from Spiderhead” written by George Saunders.
