Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a sequel to the hit 2019 DC film Shazam, which currently exists in DC’s Extended Universe. The sequel follows Billy Batson (Asher Angel) and his superhero self Shazam (Zachary Levi) after he has given the power to all of his foster siblings. While Billy is happy that he and his family are saving the world together he also fears that he will be abandoned once again after everyone gets busy in their own lives, but all of this halts to a stop after he learns that the daughters of Atlas are coming for Billy and his family’s powers and they intend to destroy everything dear to him.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods – First End-Credit Scene Explained

In the first end-credit scene of Shazam 2, we see Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and John Economos (Steve Agee) going to meet someone while engaging in witty banter with each other and after they reach their destination we become aware that they are both there to meet Shazam in order to recruit him into the Justice Society. Shazam excitingly says yes just after hearing Justice, thinking that they are talking about the Justice League but it seems like Shazam has a long way to go before he gets to stand alongside the awesome Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). After clearing the misunderstanding Shazam still agrees to join the Justice Society and offers some different names for the organization.

In the second end-credit scene of Shazam 2, we see Doctor Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong, the main villain from the first Shazam movie) in his cell at Rock Falls Penitentiary. Suddenly, Sivana hears a voice that belongs to Mister Mind saying “Well, well, doctor. We meet again,” after which Sivana enquires as to where Mister Mind has been all this time (because at the end of the first Shazam movie, we saw Sivana and Mister Mind plotting something), and Mister replies w where Mister Mind is. “Where the hell have you been?” Sivana says. Mister Mind tells Sivana, “To implement the perfect plan, doctor, one must have patience.” Sivana responds, “What are you talking about? It’s been two goddamn years!”
Mister Mind explains to Sivana that he is only a worm and he is only one step away from executing his master plan and when Sivana asks for the details Mister Mind slithers away leaving Sivana once again to rot in his jail cell.
Is Shazam 3 Possible?

After James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the DC universe and are recreating the superhero universe in their image many of the superhero movies have been axed but because some of the new characters like Emilia Harcourt and John Economos have joined Shazam, it might be an indication to the possibility of Levi’s possible future in the DC Universe. In the end, the future of Shazam depends on the upcoming Flash movie which will supposedly reset the DC Universe.
